The new iPods came out this week, and they are indeed awesome. So, no Creative Zen for me. Even awesomer, though, was the $200 reduction in the price of the iPhone. I’d been jonesing for one since they were first announced, and I resisted as well as I could for as long as I could. So, on Tuesday, I walked calmly (with effort) into the Apple store and got me one.

I’ve had it for four days now, and I can confidently attest to its awesomeness. It’s not perfect – the camera could use a flash, and the battery gets tired after a full day of constant nerding around – but it is utterly wonderful. Expect to see lots more picture posts from me going forward.
